White Island Rendezvous
At White Island Rendezvous we provide a variety of quality accommodation to suit both the pleasure and corporate traveller. We have options for every guest – from a studio with spa bath or shower, to an apartment with full kitchen facilities or the luxury of a super king bed in our boutique Kauri villa. Guests can wake-up to a hearty cooked breakfast delivered to their room or enjoy the atmosphere of our on-site café.
The great outdoors is at our doorstep. Guests have a unique opportunity to visit off-shore volcanoes – whether a day trip to White Island, the active off-shore marine volcano, or a shorter nature excursion to Whale Island – a dormant inshore volcano which is now a wildlife refuge. They can stroll down to the harbour entrance to watch the boats come and go or enjoy one of the local bushwalks to view the spectacular scenery of our bay. The motel complex is situated opposite the picturesque Whakatane Wharf and within walking distance of the town centre and many fine restaurants.

Front Villa
Sleeps 2, $180 - $180 Per NightThis charming Kauri Villa has a spacious bedroom with ensuite bathroom, separate lounge and dining areas and a kitchen with full cooking facilities, fridge and microwave. You also have the luxury of your own private garden and verandah with a view of the Whakatane Wharf and Harbour. Cooked breakfast / brunch and freshly ground Cuban Coffee are just a phone call away. This unit is a must for those seeking a special weekend away.
Back Villa
Sleeps 2, $180 - $180 Per NightCharming Kauri villa ideal for a special overnight retreat or a long term stay. Has spacious beroom with super king-sized bed, sitting room and kitchen, French doors open into a private garden and outdoor seating area. Cooked breakfast / brunch and freshly ground Cuban Coffee are just a phone call away.
The Cottage
Sleeps 2, $150 - $150 Per NightThe Cottage is the perfect retreat for two couples, a small family or those that simply want a little more room. The Cottage has two comfortable bedrooms, the master bedroom contains a king-size bed and the second bedroom is furnished with two single beds. The kitchen features full cooking facilites, fridge and microwave and meals can be eaten at the dining table in the lounge area. Lined with wood panelling and equipped with reverse cycle air-conditioning, the Cottage provides a great level of comfort all year round. A 32 inch flat-screen LCD TV and access to Sky television in the large lounge area plus high-speed wireless broadband coverage ensures that entertainment is always at hand. The Cottage has both a front and back verandah and off-street parking is available in the private driveway.
